Go Walking with London Treasure Hunts

Contrary to popular opinion, London is a fantastic city for walking in. With its selection of parks and green spaces, not to mention the vast number of attractions, historic buildings and hidden spaces, there is always something to see, no matter where on the map you find yourself.

That’s why all London Hunts are designed to be completed on foot, with no bus, tube or tram required. Not only do we think it’s healthier that way; it’s also the best way to really discover and know the city. In fact two of our hunts – the South Bank and Kensington Garden hunts are not possible to access by public transport! They have stations nearby, everywhere in London does, but you can’t journey into the heart of them. So, unless you happen to be Harry Potter and have access to a magical squeezy bus - one that can fit down cobbled streets and picturesque alleyways - you’re going to miss out on a lot of fun!

The hunts are also designed to be completed at your own pace, so it doesn’t matter if you are a mad-keen power walker, or fancying more of a family amble. There are no time limits, so you can make the most of your time wandering round the city and really get a feel for the area you’ve chosen to explore.

So all you need to ask yourself is – what are you in the mood for?

If you fancy some culture, then the South Bank is one of the busiest spots in London. For a faux-country retreat, try Kensington Gardens, once the rural estate of kings and queens. Walks based in the city will take you into the heart of the business districts and bring you face-to-face with some of London’s most historic buildings and key players; while trendsetters will want to explore the East End with its vibrant markets and cutting-edge creative vibes.
